Tutkimusprojektit

Säätiö julistaa haettavaksi rahoitusta yksittäisiin suurempiin korkealaatuisiin tieteellisiin tutkimusprojekteihin yritysjohdon alueella sekä alueilla jotka ovat keskeisiä yritysjohdon näkökulmasta.

Yksittäiselle projektille myönnetään rahoitusta 2 – 3 vuodeksi kokonaissummalla, joka on korkeintaan 300 000 euroa. Kokonaissummaan voidaan sisällyttää yliopistojen yleiskustannusosuus (overhead), joka on korkeintaan 15% myönnetystä summasta.

Projektin johdossa tulee olla varttunut tutkija ja projekti voi olla kahden yliopiston yhteistyö. Rahoitus myönnetään lähtökohtaisesti palkkakuluihin ja myönnettyjä varoja ei voi käyttää henkilökohtaisiin apurahoihin. 
Suorituspaikan tulee sitoutua tarjoamaan tarvittavat puitteet projektille sekä hoitamaan projektiin liittyvät maksatukset. Rahoitus on sidottu vastuulliseen projektijohtajaan.

Hakemus tulee laatia kokonaisuudessaan englanniksi ja sisältää seuraavat kohdat:

  • Tutkimussuunnitelma, joka tulee laatia alla olevien englanninkielisten ohjeiden mukaisesti.
  • Vastuullisen projektijohtajan sekä projektista ansiotuloja saavien henkilöiden ansioluettelo (sisältäen julkaisuluettelon).

Säätiöllä on tavoitteena ilmoittaa myönnetystä rahoituksesta marraskuussa 2026.

Research plan guidelines

Your research plan should be structured following the instructions given below. The research plan can be no more than twelve pages (Times New Roman 12 pt. or equivalent). The research plan must include the following information:

  • Principal investigator (PI), project title, site of research
  • Rationale in brief
    • Central research questions that the project aims at addressing?
    • Significance of the project in relation to current knowledge? How will the project advance or renew research in the area of inquiry?
    • Linkage between the project and previous research by the PI/the research team?
    • Expected research results and their anticipated scientific impact, potential for scientific breakthroughs and for the renewal of science and research?
    • Relevance of the expected research outcome for business and society? How can the research contribute to the development of management practice in Finland in particular?
  • Publication plan
    • Plan for publishing and communication of the research in (i) the scientific community, (ii) society at large
  • Research methods and ethical issues
    • Research methods and data, described so as to explain how they will contribute to answering the research questions
    • Description of ethical issues concerning the chosen topic, methods and data
  • Implementation: schedule, budget, distribution of work
    • Schedule for the research
    • Detailed budget with justifications
    • Names and tasks of project staff, and their salary costs (with justifications) included in the application. If the names are not known, enter N.N.
    • Estimate of the PI’s working hours per year on the project. If funding is applied for the PI: give clear, research-specific reasons for the salary (max. 6 months, requires leave of absence from other employment)
  • Research team and collaborative partners
    • Merits of research team members that are relevant to the project
    • Key national and international collaboration, and its significance for the project
  • Research careers and researcher training
    • Advancing the research career of the applicant and other researchers to be funded
    • Researcher training, including arrangements for teaching and supervision, and degrees to be completed within the project
    • Description of researcher mobility from Finland (or to Finland or between organisations in Finland) planned within the project. Justify how the visits contribute to the implementation of the research plan
